Ready to drive growth across sales and marketing? Storbie is looking for a hands-on Growth Lead who can build pipeline, run the full sales cycle to close, and scale our presence across the US, NZ and Australia
About us Storbie helps independent pharmacies across New Zealand, Australia and the USA succeed online. We’re already trusted by customers across all three markets, and as a preferred supplier to RedSail Technologies’ network of more than 10,000 independent pharmacies in the USA, our growth opportunity is significant. Join us and be part of a team that’s truly punching above its weight.
About the role As Growth Lead, you’ll sit at the centre of our growth strategy, leading both sales and marketing with a strong focus on the USA. We’re looking for someone who loves sales, likes being close to customers, and wants the chance to build as well as sell.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be across the full sales cycle; you’ll help shape the growth strategy and a smarter, more repeatable approach to growth. Reporting to the COO, you’ll generate momentum, build pipeline, nurture opportunities through to close, and grow customer relationships. As part of Storbie’s move toward AI-first operations, you’ll also look for practical ways to use AI tools to improve efficiency, insight and execution.
This role requires flexibility across the time zones we operate in, as you’ll be working with customers and prospects in the USA. We offer flexible working hours, with two work from home days per week. We’ll consider both full and part time applicants (minimum 30 hours per week).
Wellington-based candidates are preferred, but we’re open to applicants from elsewhere in New Zealand.
Day to day you'll: - Own outbound sales activity by prospecting and tapping into our external networks to open doors, drive pipeline growth, and accelerate deals
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners across the US, NZ and Australia, and identify new partnership and distribution opportunities
- Direct our US reseller team on follow-up and priority actions, and leverage in-house marketing support for content and materials
- Work partnerships already in motion with pharmacy management systems, supporting partner-led sales and joint go-to-market initiatives
- Nurture enquiries, run demos, and move deals through to close
- Spot what's working, what's not, and where process needs to improve
- Use tools, systems, and AI to reduce admin and improve follow-up
- Partner with internal teams across product, marketing, and customer success
About you You’re a commercially minded, proactive, hands-on operator who can roll up your sleeves and build momentum across both sales and marketing. You’re driven, tenacious and resilient; you know how to generate demand, nurture opportunities and turn conversations into customers. You thrive in a startup environment where every day is different, and you’re excited by the opportunity to drive growth in a practical, high-impact way.
You’re our person if: - You have proven experience in sales, ideally in SaaS or high growth environments, with a track record of managing full sales cycles
- You think strategically in terms of systems and outcomes, and know how to turn activity into results
- You’re confident owning both pipeline generation and conversion, from creating demand through to closing deals
- You communicate clearly and persuasively, whether you’re running a campaign, leading a demo or building a relationship
- You’re curious about new ways of working and comfortable using AI tools where appropriate to improve productivity, quality and speed
- Experience or knowledge of SaaS, pharmacy, retail, ecommerce or the US market would be an advantage
