About Storypark Our purpose is to help every child fulfil their unique potential by empowering the educators and organisations who shape their early years.
We are well-established as market leaders in New Zealand and Australia and are trusted by over 12,000 early learning services globally. We’re now on a mission to deepen the impact our product makes even further, building the platform early childhood organisations trust to run their services, engage families, and improve outcomes for children.
Storypark has recently acquired leading Australian childcare management platform Xap, bringing together our best-in-class family engagement and learning documentation tools with the operational tools educators need; enrolments, onboarding, funding, and compliance, all working seamlessly together. By giving early learning services more time back from admin, we help them focus on what matters most: nurturing children’s learning, strengthening family partnerships, and creating thriving early learning communities.
What you’ll be doing This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of Storypark’s workplace experience. As our Workplace Experience Coordinator, you’ll help make sure the day-to-day runs smoothly for our Wellington team while also coordinating the needs from across our wider business. You’ll be simplifying processes, improving systems and making the role your own.
You’ll take ownership of a broad mix of responsibilities, from onboarding logistics and office operations through to travel coordination, events and workplace improvements. Some tasks will be highly visible and people-facing. Others will be behind the scenes, making sure the details are taken care of before anyone notices they need attention. No two days will look exactly the same, and that’s part of what makes this role so rewarding.
You’ll work closely with the Peoples Operations and Experience Lead, so you’ll have strong support as you get up to speed. We’re open to this role being either full-time or 0.8 FTE (four days) for the right candidate. This role is based in Wellington and requires regular in-office presence.
Day to day you’ll: - Keep Storypark’s Wellington office running smoothly, creating a workplace that feels welcoming, organised and well-supported
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics, including equipment, access, welcome packs and first-day setup
- Manage office supplies, vendors, deliveries, couriers and workplace services, and help resolve day-to-day office needs
- Support equipment coordination, shipping, asset tracking and workplace systems across locations
- Coordinate travel bookings and related logistics for team members as needed
- Help deliver company events, team gatherings, celebrations and workplace rituals from planning through to on-the-day support
- Support internal meetings and business operations through calendars, logistics, documentation and coordination
- Build strong working relationships across the business and with external partners, including service providers and building contacts
- Look for smarter ways to improve, streamline and automate workplace processes over time
What you’ll bring You’re organised, proactive and great at making things happen. You enjoy variety, take pride in the details and are comfortable moving between practical coordination, relationship-building and day-to-day problem solving. You’re someone who notices what needs doing, follows through and helps create a positive experience for others.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience in office coordination, workplace experience, operations, administration or a similar role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence
- A warm, approachable communication style and the ability to build positive relationships across teams
- Comfort working across a wide range of tasks, from hands-on operational support to events and logistics
- A proactive, self-directed approach and good judgement in how you prioritise your work
- Confidence working independently, while collaborating closely with others
- Tech confidence and comfort learning new tools and systems
- Curiosity about process improvement, with interest in automation
