About Storypark
Our purpose is to help every child fulfil their unique potential by connecting and empowering the community around them.

We are well-established as market leaders in the early childhood education software in New Zealand and Australia, and are trusted by over 11,850 early learning services globally, with a strong foot-hold in Canada. We're now on a mission to deepen the impact our product makes even further, expanding our platform to provide a centralised tool for managing early childhood education organisations, all in one place.

Storypark’s all-in-one childcare management platform brings together best-in-class family engagement and learning documentation tools with the operational tools organisations need — enrolments, onboarding, funding, and compliance — all working seamlessly together. By giving early learning services more time back from admin, we help them focus on what matters most: nurturing children's learning, strengthening family partnerships, and creating thriving early learning communities.

When you work at Storypark, you're joining us at an exciting growth phase — not just building a successful business, but directly contributing to better outcomes for children globally in their most formative years.

The Role
We’re looking for a driven and motivated person with a passion for content. In this role, you’ll own content for multiple markets, audiences and product streams.  You’ll be building and running a content operation that can scale with our growth and ambition as we expand our presence across New Zealand, Australia and Canada.  You’ll own the strategy, the systems, the quality bar and the performance of content across our business, and you’ll use generative and agentic AI to multiply your own output and the output of everyone around you.

This is a Wellington based role, however we’d consider remote from other locations in New Zealand or Australia for the right candidate.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Content Marketing Manager you’ll join a dedicated, tight-knit and passionate marketing team. You’ll be a strong, collaborative and open communicator who takes quality seriously.  With your systems mindset and appetite to learn, iterate and share what you discover; you’ll be helping shape how our marketing team uses AI. Day to day you’ll:
  • Lead content strategy and editorial direction across multiple markets and audiences, taking ownership for brand voice, standards, and quality.
  • Design and scale AI-powered content systems, building workflows, agents, and playbooks that increase output and efficiency, without compromising standards.
  • Own our multi-market content engine, managing a content calendar across NZ, Australia and Canada, and producing and curating high-impact content across written, video (outsourced), podcast and interactive formats.
  • Build and activate a contributor network, partnering with sector thought leaders and freelancers to fuel a consistent pipeline of high quality content.
  • Own our global resource hub and support our marketing website.
  • Partner with our digital agency on SEO and performance optimisation, and use analytics and AI-powered insights to continuously improve impact.
  • Partner with Storypark leaders to position them as credible, visible voices in the early childhood education sector, developing LinkedIn posts, articles and speaking support that builds trust with our audiences.
  • Collaborate with our whole marketing team, especially growth marketing and design and work cross-functionally with product, customer success and sales to ensure content supports performance and business goals.
  • Ensure content is a key revenue driver both long-term and short-term, aligning content to a customer's journey to support brand awareness, consideration and conversion.
What You’ll Bring
At Storypark, we value curiosity, collaboration and growth mindsets.  We are seeking someone who embraces experimentation and is comfortable with ambiguity. You can switch between big picture strategic thinking and putting the structure and planning in place to execute.  You’re proactive and get stuff done!  Experience and traits in the following will set you up well for this role:
  • Proven experience in content strategy and execution across multiple audiences or markets simultaneously. SaaS, education or tech experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong editorial instincts and a high quality bar; you know the difference between content that builds trust, and content that just fills space.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools in a content or marketing context. (We’re not expecting a specialist, but we do want to see genuine curiosity and real examples of experimentation).
  • Solid understanding of SEO, content analytics and performance optimisation.
  • A systems mindset: you think about how to build processes and workflows, not just individual tasks.
  • Experience managing external agencies, contractors and contributor networks.
  • A highly motivated, proactive approach with a strong drive to build, iterate and improve systems.
  • Familiarity with tools like Webflow CMS, Hubspot and Riverside, as well as social platforms.
Why Join Storypark?
