DataTorque is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and enhance our enterprise IT infrastructure. You’ll have a balance of day-to-day operational work and involvement in key improvement projects – ensuring our systems run smoothly while working with projects that take our infrastructure to the next level.
Our team designs and maintains the core infrastructure that keeps our systems secure, scalable, and running at peak performance. As Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll get hands-on with automation, performance tuning, and system optimisation, while also contributing ideas and improvements that shape where we go next. This role may at times require working non-standard hours to support critical systems or project deployments.
What you’ll be doing - Design, implement, and improve infrastructure solutions across Azure and Microsoft technologies.
- Manage and support BAU operations to keep systems performing reliably and securely.
- Build and maintain automation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).
- Champion modern DevOps practices – collaborating closely with development and operations teams.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and apply practical solutions to minimise downtime.
- Manage system monitoring (SCOM), performance optimisation, and release processes.
- Help shape scalable, secure cloud infrastructure that supports business needs.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
What you’ll bring - Proven experience as a Infrastructure or Systems Engineer, ideally in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AD/Entra, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Infrastructure.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, monitoring, and identity management.
- A DevOps mindset – focused on scalability, automation, and continuous improvement.
