About the role Reporting to our Wellington Regional Operations Manager, this role is key to leading and managing our installation team to be their best. You will provide technical guidance to the team, as well as building solid relationships with our clients and suppliers. Day to day, this role will:
- Lead, coach, develop and support the installation team on effective delivery, technical excellence and client interaction
- Conduct regular site visits to gain insights and ensure the team is working effectively
- Oversee the installation schedule, taking a project management approach to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget
- Provide quality control to ensure installations are completed to the highest standard
- Provide technical advice and input to the sales team
- Collaborate with our operations, client services and maintenance teams to maintain an exceptional customer experience
- Build strong client and supplier relationships
About you You will be a natural leader with solid technical skills. You’re someone who leads by example and is happy to jump on the tools and help out the team if needed. You’ll be driven by quality and ensuring both our client and employee experience is exceptional. You will also bring:
- Previous experience in a leadership or team management role
- Technical knowledge across a variety of electronic security systems
- Project management experience and understanding of best practice
- Proactive, exceptional communication skills with an ability to build positive working relationships
- A solution orientated approach to solving problems
- A collaborative and organised approach to your work
- Strong attention to detail with the abiity to spot upselling opportunities and risks
You’ll also hold a clean, full drivers' licence, and be able to gain and maintain a Police clearance, as well as a Certificate of Approval.
