Why this role matters This is not just another Dev job. You’ll be helping improve outcomes for patients around the world by building and supporting software used in critical medical research, including studies identifying effective treatments for Covid-19.
You’ll be joining Spiral; a human-focused, flexible, and quietly innovative software company working alongside researchers, hospitals and universities.
What you’ll do As a Junior Developer, you’ll be part of a small, friendly and highly experienced remote team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and support of our study management software.
You’ll work autonomously (with plenty of support), bring your curiosity to the table, and grow through hands-on mentoring from senior developers.
About you You’re early in your software development career and ready to dive in. You love to learn and solve problems, and you’re excited about contributing to projects that matter.
You’re probably someone who is: - A clear communicator and an eager listener
- Curious, reliable, and detail-focused
- Comfortable working independently (but not alone)
- Friendly, thoughtful, and team-oriented — no egos here
Your technical toolkit To hit the ground running, you’ll need:
- Working knowledge of .NET, HTML/CSS, and SQL
- A thorough approach to testing and debugging
- A strong customer mindset and interest in usability
- A willingness to put in the mahi and learn as you go
