You will be inspired by the impact of our work, as you play a pivotal leadership role within the Brand and Customer Team. As our National Marketing and Communications Advisor, you will take ownership of key initiatives that resonate with stakeholders and uphold our brand integrity across all channels. Your expertise and in-depth knowledge of best practice will bring creative excellence to our range of campaigns that target industry and consumers and that promote our prestigious industry leading awards programmes and events including House of the Year, Apprentice of the Year, the NZ Commercial Project Awards and Constructive.

About the role …  
  • Lead and deliver a comprehensive and integrated national marketing and comms programme, that aligns with our strategic goals and key messages.
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with our agency partners, national & regional teams and industry stakeholders.
  • Leadership of our social media strategy, developing initiatives that lift engagement, connection and are responsive to industry developments and our member and stakeholders’ needs.
  • Oversight of content on our websites, newsletters, EDMs, advertising and event promotion.
  • Responding positively to change, adapting to fluctuating priorities and contributing to the broader team where needed.  
 About you …  
  • Demonstrated in-depth expertise and success in broad Marketing and Communications roles.
  • Proven track record implementing effective campaigns with measurable impact.
  • Strong social media and digital marketing experience and an understanding of how to integrate media within a broader marketing strategy.
  • Dedicated team member with outstanding writing ability and relationship building skills.
  • Highly organised and detail focused, yet able to quickly pivot and respond effectively when the goal posts shift.
  • You are professional, innovative and keen to use your initiative in a role, while having good judgement about when to check in or seek advice.
