About the opportunity
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with impactful organisations, and a team that has the best interests of others at the heart of what they do.

This is a truly unique and exciting opportunity to join a family office as the Administration, Finance and Operations Manager.  While this role will have a wide range of responsibilities, it has a strong focus on financial administration, ensuring smooth financial operations, and liaising with our external accountants.

You’ll also be responsible for:
  • Providing executive support for the family office including coordinating meetings, arranging travel, governance support and minute taking
  • Being a super-user when it comes to our tech and systems (Fluxx and Xero)
  • Managing the finance functions and liaising with our external accountants (BDO)
  • Overseeing the successful running of our office from engaging with external suppliers, and maintaining supplies, to managing events
About you
This role is the heart of our office, and we are seeking an organised self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will ideally bring experience in a similar role, along with a customer-centric approach to all you do, and a genuine desire to have a positive impact on others through your work.  You will also bring:
  • A natural ability with technology and systems
  • Proven experience with financial administration using Xero or a similar financial system
  • Experience in administration, operations, or office management
  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify potential problems and find solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail, confident with numbers and completing complex documentation 
  • A commitment to te Tiriti
  • An ability to work across multiple workstreams, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines 
You will also be highly trustworthy and have an ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
