As a Security Technician with Waterford Security, you will have an opportunity to develop your career, as you enjoy the positive team culture in a growing Kiwi business. You’ll love this hands-on role, where you take responsibility for working closely with customers to install and service their electronic security systems. You will keep up to date with the latest technology, as you utilise your skills in fault identification and resolution, ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our valued customers.
About the role - Install, configure, and program security systems
- Manage installation projects ensuring they meet customer deadlines
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults
- Maintain and monitor customer security systems
- Document all service checks and report on any faults
- Participate in an on-call roster and respond to callouts in a timely manner
- Provide technical expertise to the sales team
About you - Background as an Electronic Security Technician with programming, installation or faults experience
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control and alarm systems such as Milestone, Gallagher, Tecom, ICT and Integriti, or a willingness to learn
- Electrical or electronic security qualifications or working towards one
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Full clean NZ drivers licence and Certificate of Approval (or the ability to gain one)
