Workplace Experience Manager

About the role 
The Workplace Experience Manager is a vital position within our Wellington team. Reporting to the Head of Support Services, this role will ensure the smooth running of the office day to day, while supporting health and safety processes and systems. You’ll be looked to for support from the wider team and will be comfortable being across all of our office systems. Some of your responsibilities will be: 
 
Office Management: 
  • Managing office operations including greeting visitors, answering calls, managing couriers, overseeing office supplies, and coordinating IT support 
  • Coordinating onboarding / offboarding for staff members and managing employee learning / training records 
  • Organising events and arranging travel  
  • Managing our fleet of vehicles 
  • Supporting the team with purchase order management and responding to queries   
Health and Safety: 
  • Champion and coordinate Health, Safety and Wellbeing for the Wellington team.  
  • Support the review and implementation of H&S policies, ensuring they’re aligned with relevant legislation 
  • Training and guiding the wider team on H&S processes and policies 
  • Maintaining our H&S register, completing audits, and reporting events 
About you 
You will bring an engaging and curious approach, naturally slotting in to support our team in any way that you can. You’ll have some exposure to H&S processes and policies, and an ability to utilise your skills across a wide range of responsibilities. You’ll also ideally bring:  
  • Experience in office management or administration 
  • Outstanding time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities 
  • A natural ability with technology 
  • Some experience managing H&S systems and initiatives 
  • Understanding of the relevant H&S regulations and legislation, and their application in our environment - or keen to develop in this area
  • Strong customer service skills and experience, with an exceptional ability to communicate 
  • An organised approach to your work with strong attention to detail 
  • A collaborative, outcome focused, approach to teamwork
