The role:
As a Creative Strategist, you'll lead Moodi’s video and static image creatives across paid digital marketing channels, primarily Meta and TikTok. We’re looking for an expert in paid digital advertising who loves ideating and creating ads that perform and convert while elevating our brand.

Our ideal candidate blends creative and analytical skills — generating innovative ideas, following ad trends, and making data-driven decisions. You will collaborate directly with the Founders to elevate Moodi’s paid digital marketing efforts. As part of our small, dynamic
team, you will be deeply involved in both strategy and execution.

What you'll do:

Develop and execute paid content strategy:
  • Collaborate with the Founders to create a paid content strategy aligned with business objectives, such as maximising marketing efficiency, increasing contribution margin, enhancing creative velocity, and increasing creative diversity
Ideate and develop ad concepts:
  • Conduct research to generate original and compelling ideas for short-form video and static image ad campaigns
  • Understand business objectives, target audiences, product USPs, and market trends to develop concepts that convert
Produce ad content:
  • Manage the end-to-end production of short-form video ad content, including briefing creators, scripting and editing content
  • Design high-performing static ads for use in digital marketing campaigns and possibly repurposed for EDMs
Analyse and optimise creative performance:
  • Monitor and review ad performance metrics regularly to assess effectiveness
  • Analyse data and leverage analytical tools to generate insights and identify areas for creative improvement, optimising content for better performance
Establish and improve processes:
  • Develop and refine workflows for efficient ideation, creation, and analysis of paid ad content
Drive innovation and stay current with trends:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and content creation
  • Incorporate innovative approaches and emerging trends into ad concepts to keep campaigns fresh and engaging
Cross-functional collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Founders to align creative strategies with overall marketing goals and ensure cohesive brand messaging
What you’ll need:

Platform expertise:
  • Proven experience in ideating and creating paid video and static ad concepts for these platforms
  • Familiarity with the marketing funnel and its application to paid digital marketing strategies
  • Strong understanding of what converts on various digital ad platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
Creative and technical skills:
  • Proficiency in graphic design, with the ability to use Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and/or Canva to create high-performing ads
  • Experience briefing and scripting short-form video content e.g. UGC, customer testimonials, Founder ads
  • Experience editing TikTok-style short-form video content for ads e.g. using CapCut
  • Strong ability to re-purpose raw UGC and existing content in cohesive ads
  • In-depth understanding of different paid marketing frameworks and how to apply them to creative strategy
  • Strong copywriting skills with an informed perspective on what makes compelling and effective ad copy
Analytical skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse ad performance metrics and generate insights to improve performance
  • Experience using data to inform creative decisions and improve campaign

  • Strong creative vision with the ability to generate innovative and engaging paid ad concepts
  • Passion for content creation, always thinking of new and creative ad ideas to test Organisational and process management skills:
  • Strong organisational skills and experience creating and implementing processes for content creation and analysis

  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of professionalism

  • Understanding of Moodi's brand messaging, tone of voice, and values to ensure all content aligns with the brand's vision
