About the role 
This varied role encompasses team leadership, account management, business development, project management and service delivery, so will suit someone who enjoys wearing many hats. 
  
As the manager of our iMIS and Development business unit, you’ll be leading a team of talented technical consultants to configure, implement, and support iMIS solutions for our clients.   You’ll foster a high performing team culture to ensure our clients receive exceptional service and the best possible outcomes. 
  
You'll also be responsible for driving business growth through effective account management and seeking opportunities to add value to our loyal client base, while also prospecting for new clients. 
  
While you’ll be an evangelist for outcome and delivery, your effective communication skills and positive, pro-active management approach will ensure you consistently interact in an upbeat, solutions focused way as part of our small and collaborative team. 
   
Day to day you’ll:   
  • Lead the team to ensure effective planning, utilisation, resourcing and quality of work that meets project deliverables and SLAs. 
  • Provide oversight and project management of iMIS and other web-based application implementations. 
  • Provide exceptional account management and reporting to existing clients. 
  • Undertake business development activities and prospecting for new business with clients, including developing sales and project proposals. 
  • Build strong and trusted partnerships with clients, associates, contractors, and 3rd party software providers 
  • Consistently develop and refine our service offerings to the market for iMIS  
  • Contribute to Zephyr’s project development and implementation streams 
  • Be an evangelist for growing and retaining the pool of quality technical talent available to Zephyr 
About you 
We’re looking for someone special to fill this role. You’ll be known for your interactive and adaptable leadership approach, positivity, resilience, and strong work ethic. We’re looking for someone with:   
  • A natural ability to lead and mentor a technical consulting team 
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills 
  • Expertise in business development and building long term client relationships  
  • Outstanding communication skills on all fronts 
  • An eye for detail and appreciation for systems and process 
  • A desire to grow and develop the knowledge of your team while producing positive impacts 
While an understanding of iMIS environments would be preferred, it is not essential. Zephyr is one of only two iMIS providers in New Zealand. Our clients are predominately membership-based organisations and regulatory bodies.  So, if your previous experience is outside of iMIS but you do have exposure to NFP, regulatory or membership-based environments we would still love to hear from you.
