This is a Sales Executive role like no other; our product is niche and of high value to our clients. We’ve secured a good chunk of the New Zealand market, working primarily in the accounting, legal, trust and estate sectors. If you have an interest in this area, you’ll find this role interesting and rewarding.
Following a meaningful induction period, you’ll be responsible for building new connections within the sectors we serve. Our target client pipeline is prepared and ready for you to unleash your relationship building skills.
A typical week will see you:
- Making connections with potential clients and networking at industry events
- Partnering with our existing clients to become their trusted advisor
- Collaborating with our internal development and customer service teams to ensure client implementation runs smoothly
- Listening to our clients – understanding their business and making recommendations related to their needs
- Anticipating and forecasting client’s needs, before they even know they have them
- Negotiating contracts to ensure both parties are satisfied
- Playing your part to maintain our reputation and supporting our collaborative culture
You’ll bring previous experience in either sales leadership, a client facing relationship management role or pre-sales. Most importantly, you’ll have strong communication skills, an organised approach and a thirst for success.
Our client base is hugely varied so your ability to adapt, understand their needs and make relevant recommendations will see you in good stead. Confidence in presenting will be one of your strongpoints; you love standing up and doing what you do best – selling a strong product for the benefit of those on the other end.
You won’t mind regular trips to Auckland as this will form part of the market you’ll support. With a reliable CRM and organised crew, finding information and maintaining client files will be easy.
It’s not essential that you’ve sold software or have experience in our specific market, but of course this helps! If you’re a great fit with our team and culture, we offer thorough training to fill in any gaps. Next steps
