As a key member of the Auckland Transport Panel for Engineering Services (TTEPS), Blue Barn has proven itself as an expert in the Transportation arena. The Transportation team is widely experienced, and like the rest of the business is growing quickly. Expertise within the team is utilised across Traffic, Road Safety and Roading Design projects.
As a Traffic Engineer, you will be working closely with the Principal Engineer and the wider team. You will be providing Transportation Engineering Consultancy services, leading projects and developing client relationships. The role will also encompass:
- Transportation Project Management from brief to delivery
- Traffic and Safety solutions including concept and feasibility designs, traffic reports, investigations and surveys
- Nurture and development of the junior members of the team
You will be a go-getter with a can-do attitude! Your experience across many Transportation projects will be impressive, some of which will include recent participation in Auckland Transport projects. You might come from a big corporate or a smaller consultancy, and will possess the following:
Becoming a Blue Barner…
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
- A sound knowledge of Auckland Transport projects
- Experience with CAS, SIDRA and other traffic related software (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
