What you’ll be doing
You’ll play an integral role in creating exceptional employee and candidate experiences for our Wellington and Auckland teams. Ensuring our culture is nurtured and evolves with our people over time, and that the right people join our team, at the right time, will be a primary focus. The talent and employee experience realm will be your focus – to help shape, deliver and take part in. People will be at the centre of everything you design so you’re likely someone who thrives on seeing others at their very best.

Collaborating with leaders across our business, you will develop a deep understanding of each specialty group and the role they play in providing solutions to our clients. From this, you’ll form a talent strategy that will never see us short of genuine, highly skilled humans. Once we recruit a newcomer, you’ll be responsible for their onboarding and over the lifecycle of their employment, contribute largely to their employee experience. Your ultimate goal will be to collaborate with our lead team to create an environment that people never want to leave. You’ll know you’ve succeeded when attrition rates are next to nothing!

The scope to think differently and manage your workload and developments in this space, will be all yours with the support of our Managing Partner and Australasian HR team. There is a real sense of ownership with the way we operate so the opportunity to experiment and shine is ready for the taking.

What’s on the horizon for you over the next year?
  • Lead talent projects, end-to-end inclusive of crafting PD’s
  • Measure employee engagement through regular pulse surveys
  • Explore new practices to improve our employee experience
  • Scope appropriate training and development initiatives
  • Support our leaders with upskilling in coaching and people leadership
  • Craft our way forward with policy and procedures
  • Design and lead personal development and performance management activities inclusive of fair compensation plans and assistance with remuneration cycles
  • Review and ensure our Health and Safety procedures are up to standard
  • Fun, and the chance to play your part in maintaining our reputation and inclusive culture  
What you’ll need to do it
We’re fairly open minded about the background you bring to us – you may be a senior talent specialist ready to broaden your skillset or a generalist HR advisor with experience and a love for talent management. What will be truly key to your success however, is your honed talent management skills and passion for employee experience and organisational development initiatives.

Your fresh approach, curiosity to explore and keenness to succeed will set you apart from others. Your worldly yet understated approach and extensive know-how will not go unnoticed. Your fascination for continuous research and development to help us be one of the best workplace’s in NZ, will see us streets ahead.
