The Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand board is looking for a new member to help develop and deliver on the strategic direction of the organisation and the wider movement. The position will represent Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand on the world stage and contribute to the Youth Strategy. You will gain invaluable training and experience on the governance of an international human rights organisation and how to best give ideas and communicate initiatives. We are looking for a passionate human rights defenders who is well connected to the concerns of young people in Aotearoa and has an awareness of strategies being employed to respond to them. It is important that you have the capacity and enthusiasm to attend four board meetings a year, engage in online discussions and email between meetings, and participate in sub-committees as needed. A commitment to Te Āo Māori and to Te Tiriti o Waitangi will be highly regarded. How to Apply
