Whitby Lakes Retirement Village is a tranquil residential community in the heart of Whitby. This is arguably one of the best located villages in the country, both in terms of access to amenities and services. Since being acquired in 2009, it has blossomed into a village of 61 villas and 71 apartments. Whitby Lakes is looking for a capable and experienced Village Manager to manage the operations of Whitby Lakes Retirement Village. The Role
Reporting to the Village Operator, the Manager will ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the village while building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and exemplifying integrity and professionalism.
Main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the effective running of the village in accordance with best practice;
- Providing timely, accurate and informative reporting to the board;
- Building close and highly effective relationships that enhance delivery and commercial success; and
- Fostering an environment which enriches and supports the lives of the residents.
We are looking for a people-oriented and experienced manager who can demonstrate leadership, computer proficiency and financial literacy and who shares our commitment to strong values, excellent service and creating a unique lifestyle and experience for the residents of the village.
