About the role … - Assess the reinforcing elements of existing concrete structures through the use of ferroscan scanners and ground penetrating radar scanners and ultrasonic equipment
- Assess and analyse the data to compile verification reports for clients
- Learn other aspects of the business, as part of an innovative team developing new technology in the NDT (non-destructive testing) space.
- Use scan analysis software, photo software and CAD
- Opportunity to develop into a Job Manager, working through the country, which involves working with clients and having oversight of jobs.
- Largely based in Auckland CBD, but some additional travel may be required; on rare occasions this may be several weeks away at a time.
About you … - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write concise, effective reports
- Assess and analyse the data to compile verification reports for clients
- Passion for the industry, an open attitude to learning and a collaborative approach
- Ability to use the necessary technology, equipment and software, and/or the aptitude to learn it.
- Knowledge of construction, steel testing and/or engineering, particularly steel reinforced concrete structures. CAD experience is helpful to the role.
