This is where you come in! We’re growing, and are seeking an accounting focused Support and Implementation Consultant to join our Wellington-based team. 
  
The role 
  
As our Accounting Support and Implementation Consultant, you’ll be a pivotal part of our business as you provide exceptional service to our customers. Every day you will be building strong relationships with customers and assisting them with accounting queries as these relate to the implementation and use of our software solution. This might be a simple explanation relating to processing an invoice, or require a more in-depth conversation to understand their business context and background to best resolve their query. 
  
As you build product knowledge, you’ll implement our dealer management system into new customer sites. This will see you working closely with the customer to understand their business processes allowing for a tailored set-up. 
  
Day to day this role will see you: 
  • Utilising your accounting knowledge as you engage with customers over the phone and email to resolve issues  
  • Thinking critically as you systematically work through customer queries, exploring where the root cause might lie 
  • Providing training to new and existing customers so they become confident system users within their dealership 
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement or system enhancement 
  • Working closely with the wider Auto-IT team to deliver high-quality system implementations 
  • Looking for ways to add value to customers, sharing information about new products and services that may help them with their dealership.   
There is a travel component to this role; mostly you’ll be based in our Ngauranga office but there are times you’ll be out on client sites around the region. Ideally you will have a car you can use for customer visits around the Wellington region, and you must hold and maintain a clean license. There will be some national travel. 
  
About you 
  
You’re a natural when it comes to engaging with a variety of people and have a customer-centric approach to your work. Your love for accounts and (ideally) a dealership background will help you understand the nuance of our customers’ needs and quickly get to the core of the matter. 
  
Your background will show your: 
  • Experience in accounts. You don’t need to have a formal accounting background, hands on experience with accounts payable, business finances and invoicing will set you up well 
  • Effective communication style: your emails and documentation are simple, clear and relevant, and your manner demonstrates empathy and clarity 
  • Keen attention to detail, knowing when to delve down to the nitty-gritty and when to swoop up to see the big picture
  • Analytical approach towards problem solving
  • Determination and curiosity to ask questions and explore, uncovering root cause 
  • Ability to pick up new technologies and technical concepts  
  • Self-motivated towards achieving the right outcome for the situation. 
The salary range for this role is $65-80K, dependent on experience.
