Coordinator - Registrant Quality

About the role 
The Coordinator Registrant Quality directly supports the Nurse Advisors and Manager, providing effective and efficient administration and coordination support. This role is involved in many key processes within the Nursing Council including coordinating the Registrant Quality Committee and assisting with  Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Prescribing processes. Some of the responsibilities associated with this role include:
  • Coordination of recertification audits and assessment processes for Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Prescribing
  • Ensuring communication with both internal and external parties is professional, courteous and timely 
  • Responding to phone and email inquiries from stakeholders      
  • Preparing papers and the agenda for the Registrant Quality Committee 
  • Organising travel and accommodation  
  • Accurately coding invoices and drafting correspondence 
  • Maintaining the database with a high level of detail 
Skills & experience 
We are looking for someone who brings: 
  • Extensive experience in a senior administrative or coordinator role 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Solid experience and knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Adaptable, enjoys working in an environment where change is normal 
  • Proven ability in drafting correspondence 
  • Strong data entry experience and a natural ability with technology 
  • A high level of organisation with an ability to meet deadlines 
  • A proactive approach to your work with a can-do attitude 
You will ideally have an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and te reo or a drive and passion to learn more.
