The Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA) is a Not for Profit business, which supports its members with HR services, employment relations advice, comprehensive courses, and training. The EMA is a founding member of BusinessNZ, which collectively offers services and support to over 14,500 member companies throughout NZ.
The EMA are currently going through some exciting changes, with both an expansion of our HR solutions, and the implementation of a new digital HR portal. Currently we are largely focused on employment relations advice, however we are shortly to extend our offering to the full suite of HR solutions, to include (but not limited to) people, culture and engagement. These enhancements will help our members build both business capability, and human capital practices within their organisations, and we are looking for the right people to help implement our vision. About the role
As the manager of the EMA’s largest portfolio of accounts, this new role is critical to the success of the revenue growth strategy. The portfolio will encompass business associations, franchise networks, affiliates, and (selective) channels, and provides the biggest opportunity for exponential growth for the EMA through the greater reach of these accounts. The role will have a new business focus to increase membership across the portfolio, together with responsibility for growing existing accounts. You will be working with your accounts at a C-suite level, to uncover opportunities for the EMA’s newly enhanced services to be provided across their entire business – often nationally. Relationships at a C-level will be critical, however multi-level stakeholder engagement will be equally as important to the ongoing account management. About you
Are you a hunter who can also foster long-term partnerships? Can you work strategically with your accounts, and weave together effective and profitable solutions? We are looking for a commercially savvy sales professional, with a history of high sales performance. You must be able to demonstrate depth and breadth of coverage either from within an account, sector, or market segmentation. In addition:
- Proven ability to build relationships at multiple levels (including C-suite) within an organisation
- Background in Channel / Partnership sales is ideal
- Evidence of working collaboratively within teams and organisations
- Experience in building virtual teams will be well regarded
- Strong communication and presentation skills
In return we can offer a generous base salary and benefits, along with a very competitive and uncapped commission structure. The package also includes a fully paid company vehicle and car park.
